Sussex Inlet is a town in the South Coast region of
New South Wales, Australia. Sussex Inlet lies on
the west bank of the waterway called Sussex Inlet,
which divides New South Wales from the Jervis
Bay Territory. The town lies within the City of
Shoalhaven.
Sussex Inlet is a holiday and retirement town
located on a narrow, meandering stretch of water
known as "The Inlet" that connects the Pacific
Ocean to the lagoon, St Georges Basin. The
township is a typical water activities-based
destination with an emphasis on fishing, swimming,
surfing, sailing and water skiing.
Sussex Inlet is a suburb of South Coast, New South
Wales and is about 154 kms south-southwest of
